Toad Defence Privacy Policy
Effective October 26, 2026 · Toad Defence is made by Content Toad
Toad Defence is a tower defence game for players of all ages, including children. We built it so that it collects nothing about you or your child. This page explains exactly what the game does and doesn’t do.
The short version
We don’t collect, store or share any personal information.
There are no accounts, logins or chat.
Your game progress stays on your device.
The current version shows no real ads and sells nothing.
What stays on your device
To save your progress, the game keeps a small file on your phone. It holds your levels, stars, power-ups, settings, the silly leaderboard name you picked from a list (like “Sleepy Pickles 834”), and a random ID number that the game uses to tell your scores apart from other players’ scores on the same device. None of this is sent to us or anyone else. Uninstalling the game, or using Settings → Reset all progress, deletes it.
Leaderboards
In the current version, leaderboards only show scores from your own device. Nothing is uploaded. Leaderboard names are picked from a list of words, so players can’t type their real name.
Ads and purchases
The current version does not show real ads and does not sell anything. Ad spots show a placeholder, and the shop’s paid packs are marked “Coming soon.” If we add real ads or purchases in a future version, we’ll update this policy before that version is released, and we’ll only use services that follow Google Play’s Families policies for kids’ apps.
Emailing us
The Send feedback button in Settings opens your email app with a message addressed to us. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send it. If you do, we receive your email address, your message, and the details the game fills in to help us fix bugs: the game version, the furthest level reached, the random player ID and your device’s browser information. We only use this to reply to you and improve the game, and we never sell or share it. You can ask us to delete your emails at any time. This button is meant for grown-ups.
Children’s privacy
We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. The game doesn’t ask for names, ages, locations, photos or contact details, and there’s no way for players to talk to each other. If you think a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Permissions
The Android app includes the standard internet permission that comes with the framework the game is built on. The current version doesn’t use it to send or receive any data.
Changes to this policy
If the game changes how it handles information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top before the new version is released.
